Thanks for your input but I'm gna take Erin Strout's advice on this.
The production does seem almost comically unbalanced -- did Mr. Kemp not seek any input for women, or did he ask and see his invitations declined? And it's unfortunate if it's a waste of time, because it features a lot of sharp, longtime observers. And of course Gladwell was going to be in there even if just to talk mostly out of his ass and show off his hair; he's a hero in Canada and popular here as well.
But Erin Strout being the one to complain about a lack of balance could not be more ironic. This is someone who has been churning out one-sided as well as factually incomplete stories about transgender and intersex girls and women for two-plus years without ever talking to a single biological girl or anyone from that "side." Every one of these dismal screeds portrays anyone against the idea of testicles circling the track at mad speeds in female events as some kind of anti-science bigot, and they usually mention some right-winger like Nikki Haley or a randomly selected Trump supporting "anti-trans" legislation to poison the well further.
Her point about this being terrible probably stands, but I actually laughed when I saw who has written this inevitable review. At least she admits she used a magazine platform to write it based on her own angry feelings -- a slip-up Woke misandrist women are not supposed to make, though perhaps that's evolving.
