Fresh off a cycle that ended yesterday with a 2:50:30 marathon for my 3rd one (and non supported TT half marathon of 1:19:55 6 weeks prior) on approximately 65 MPW.
My question is - post recovery and into my next cycle for the late fall (likely Chicago), what’s a reasonable goal to start working towards?
I know the time jumps are about to get smaller so just wondering what may be an appropriate baseline to think about. I’m about 20 months into getting back into the sport at age 29. Was a 16:30 5k back in HS ages ago.
