Guys like me register so we own our opinions,
Fact.....evil cop who had a history of being over aggreSsive killed a guy and we all saw it, love facts!
In 15 seconds Chauvin had his gun out and tossing f bombs at Floyd. He set the stage.
No......we need to talk sir .......keep in mind this was over a 20 dollar bill.
When did Chauvin ever pull his gun on Floyd? I think you have the wrong cop.
Just imagine if Floyd would have not resisted? Why resist arrest over a funny money fine?
Begging for your life as a guy kneels on your neck for nine plus minutes is "resisting" is it?
Nope, but not going in the police vehicle and not listening to commands is. Thus the reason he needed to be restrained, right?
Exactly why does someone need to be restrained who is not threatening anyone or posing a danger to anyone and whose only alleged offence of passing a dud bill can be met with a fine? Oh, I forgot - he's a black man and when a white cop says" jump" he has to jump. Yep, as you say, he has to abide by their "commands". Another variation of -"you looking at me, boy?" Didn't matter that he kept saying "Sorry" and "sir". He obviously needed a lesson.
If GF would have took a seat in the police vehicle then he would not have need to be restrained.
For you to continue to deny this simple fact is so typical of you! When they put GF on the ground - did he, or did he not, lay on the ground calmly? ANSWER THAT QUESTION, PLEASE.
When he was on the ground he wasn't resisting. But you fail to answer the question of why did they need to restrain him when he wasn't attacking or even threatening anyone. Why did he need to be put in the police vehicle? He had supposedly passed off a dud bill, for f*ck sake, a minor offence that at the most would incur a fine. A virtual parking infringement. The police escalated the situation from the moment they approached him, first threatening him with a pistol, and then ultimately killing him.
If you want to call what he was doing something else when he was placed on the ground flopping around and required three police officers attention, let us know what YOU call that.
So you think the cops should have just written him a ticket for using fake money and let an impaired person operate a vehicle? I'm actually disappointed that the other two in his vehicle weren't also arrested.
There would have been know escalation if he would have showed his hands and listened and done what he was asked to do.
'Flopping around'?! How dangerous is that! "Let's suffocate the s.o.b to death!"
and you would be the one who would blame the cops for not restraining a person having a seizure, or reaction to drugs and flops around and smashes their face into the pavement. Do you have Monday morning quarterbacks in your country?
No, I wouldn't. It wasn't a job for the police but for medical professionals. They are less likely to murder someone.
Exactly! But for EMS to work on someone they have to be subdued, right?
You mean suffocated, dont you? How "subdued" does he have to be, lying on the ground, handcuffed and not offering resistance?
