Yes.
I don’t know it is justified but I will probably happen
Yes
Yes!
I'd put the odds on this:
Not Guilty -200
Guilty +250
A slight edge in favor of him being not guilty. George Zimmerman was acquitted of his crime against Trayvon Martin.
I think he is guilty of at least some of the charges, I'm 50-50 on the highest level charges.
I think if he isn't found guilty of all charges, it will result in rioting. That rioting is wrong. The majority of people protesting will be peaceful. However, for the millions of peaceful protesters, most focus will be on the thousands of rioters and looters, and it will erode the message.
No, if a court of law with all the facts of the case decides he’s not guilty then the public should respect their decision. I imagine he’ll probably be found guilty of some of the charges though.

You won’t say that when they burn down your neighborhood.
And please, remind me of which crime Zimmerman was guilty of. Last time I checked he was found not guilty and his actions were deemed self defense.
Yes BUT they should understand if that's the case, it is not surprising at all and based on the many loopholes in the written law. It's not because some judge or jury are biased. They are supposed to not think emotionally but instead follow the rules that are set.
If what he did was legal of course there should be outrage. Agents of the government shouldn’t be able to treat citizens that way.

When was someone's neighborhood burned down?
If, after dispassionately considering all available evidence, the jury finds him not guilty, then there is no justification whatsoever for rioting.
It’ll still happen in every city in the country, and politicians will still “understand the pain” of the rioters, but it won’t be justified.
Don't you remember all of the white people rioting after OJ Simpson was found not guilty?
Of course there will be rioting when he is found not guilty. People need free drugs from pharmacies, free booze from liquor stores, and free TVs from electronics stores.
I don’t view it as a matter of “justified.” Society is an organism. If society has a persistent cancer (such as slavery, a non functioning justice system, oppression)...there will be a correction.
“Rioting” is not rioting in the context of a justice vacuum....the standard has been set that laws and/or morality don’t apply, even to the extreme extent that our most trusted and trained, police, can commit murder with impunity. That is an all-bets-are-off situation and the stage was set by the power brokers, not the average citizen.
While no individual is justified in violent rioting, no informed person cannot see that such a thing would be inevitable, like an immune response.
Just as liable, if not more so, would be all the bad-acting police, poorly performing prosecutors, and other representatives of the social contract who have chronically eroded the social contract.
You can’t irritate a bear endlessly and then act like it is aggressive when it attacks. You knew it would bite at some point and you acted as you did. What option did the bear have if all avenues of conventional recourse are dead ends?
Nah bro
That’s a lot of words to say you support looting burning down your local CVS.
You’re a terrible troll. Ferguson, Kenosha, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland. Take you pick.
Were people justified on January 6th?

There weren't riots after the OJ verdict. The big riots in 1992 in LA were after the police officers in the Rodney King trial were acquited.
In some ways the George Floyd trial is similar because there was clear video evidence. It didn't help that the trial was moved to an all-white suburb north of LA.
I don't support it, but recognize the reality that social instability as inevitable when society is pathological. Also, I'd be happy to see a CVS burn if it meant one less George Floyd situation. I have no doubt Minneapolis cops are feeling more pressure to be on their best behavior as a result of the George Floyd protests and riots.
