Hi. Suffering from ITBand. Felt it on Sunday toward end of 10 mile run. Ran 20 min. Tuesday and felt it. Shut down completely.
What is the best treatment - stretching OR strengthening or a combination thereof. Do I need to go to a PT? I have seen an ART guy once and going again today. Mostly he digs in there while i move my leg.
I have shut down the running and will swim. Could you guys give me advice on which is better - stretching or strengthening. Seems a confusing topic.
And how often to strengthen or stretch.
