I think you forgot to add more than the copy/paste from twitter, so I'm going to fill in some of the missing context.
This tweet was posted to all BU athletics/track & field social media pages and websites, but was abruptly removed with no explanation provided. The post then re-emerged after about 60 people uploaded the image to their individual social media pages, while tagging BU athletics in the process, to ensure Andrea received proper recognition. There has been some speculation that BU athletics was not going to allow Andrea to compete at nationals (due to Covid-19 restrictions or other reasons), and was trying to prevent the public from learning of her achievement, but it seems the athletes forced their hand if this was the case.
The only public recognition Andrea received from Sanders was a retweet, in which no commentary or praise was added. The handful of re-posts by BU athletes that I saw included significantly more effort than this. Even if this was a positive example, a single act of praise in public does not rectify a pattern of behavior in private. My contact corroborated the information provided by "t-party" and "youreallidiots," and expressed similar frustrations.
