Farah wins in 1:03:07
Farah wins in 1:03:07
In all fairness to the athletes it looks like the weather was in the 80s for this?!?!
1:03? Appears someone should reevaluate his Ethiopian vacation regimen.
Farah is so sketchy, lol

Bashir abdi is a 2:04 guy and mo dropped him easily. Seems sketch that when Bashir races Mo he always gets dropped easily though he has a faster marathon PR. Also Abdi Abdirockman was on the start list but isn’t in the results and I didn’t see him in the video feed.
Farah could be a 2:04 guy if he raced like one instead of going out like he might get a 2:02. The hill I will die Innis that Farah should be running the marathon in Tokyo. He said he didn't think a 2:04 would get a medal but it could well be good enough for gold. He'll need all sorts of luck, and probably a PR to medal in the 10,000. I think he just didn't like the work needed for the marathon

Given his history of avoiding tests and outright lies, it is very concerning.
I See what you're doing there...
Good tuneup before the Kiribati marathon next month.
How old is this guy?
The race was hot weather but still, Farah should be faster than that. Rupp ran 60min plus on a paved bike path. Yes weather was very cool, but at this point I think Rupp is better than Mo. Rupp’s new training is good for him.

Farah ran 59:20 in September, en route to the 24 hour record. I don't think he will ever worry about Rupp in any race they both happen to be in

An opening 59:20 in a 24 hour race is quite the way to put some distance in the bank!
But yeah I agree half & under. Rupp has proven himself a gamer at the marathon.

Eh? I must have missed that one. I remember him doing the ONE hour record attempt though.

what are you smoking and talking about? The guy tried the marathon for years and got smoked or dropped everytime. not saying he wouldnt get better if he actually COMMITTED to it over years (should have starteed years earliers), but for this oly cycle? he has no chance in the 'thon
Farah is a very competent marathoner. He won Chicago, ffs. But that distance is a bit of a stretch for him compared to the very best. The 1500 is very close to being his best event. IN fact, according to points, it is his best event.
He has incredible range, but it is probably just too much to ask a 3:28 man to be the best in the marathon.
