So I know that the new Victory spikes are the optimal mid d spikes, but I probably won’t be able to get a pair. So would the Dragonflies be a good enough spike to get the job done? (Looking to run around sub 1:50 and in the 3:40s)

yes they’re good, but they have a little too much cushion IMO, just a little too much for something like the 800. If i were you I’d go for the Mamba Vs. it’s super snappy and aggressive making it great for an 800 and it excelled in the 1500-3k IMO

I typically prefer lots of padding as I strike very very aggressively.
You probably shouldn't wear them, because if you run fast people will say it's only because of the shoes. Better to run fast with something else which you should be able to do
