The sad thing is how mistaken you are. What former Arkansas track athletes have ever been a part of any remotely visible marketing campaign? Arkansas football means about 1,000,000 times more than any runners or jumpers or sprinters in terms of brand marketing. Football and basketball drive the collegiate athletic sponsorship contracts and the non-revenue sports get the table scraps remaining from that huge feast.
