Huddle is likewise spectacularly beautiful...
How long for Saucony to figure out that Quig may be decent on the outside but ug on the inside

Can we agree that all runners are beautiful? Quigley should earn more because she's beautiful. Seidel should earn more because she's beautiful.
So everyone should just earn more if we decide to agree with this?
All looks matter.

If she’s making money from running trails there is absolutely no reason to retire. Imagine being a sub elite runner and making as much as some elites and thinking “well even though I’m getting paid the same I should retire cause some dumb@ss on letsrun said I should retire because I can’t compete on the roads or track”. You’re literally an idiot.
My point was that she shouldn’t be sponsored to run.
And to people that want to get mad about people bringing up looks, don’t get mad at people for stating facts. Colleen isn’t more of an asset to a company as a sponsored athlete because she is found to be attractive by a lot of people necessarily. She is more of an asset because she has more of a social media following which is huge in today’s world. If you want to be in denial that looks don’t play a role in that then that’s fine but you aren’t living in reality.
Colleen has around 230k followers on Instagram. Karissa and Shelby have around 110k COMBINED followers. Both of them are very attractive but yes, Colleen has 4x the followers of them because shes on another level of hotness. Unless you want to argue her fast braid Friday’s are just that riveting. It’s absurd people get so salty by people stating the obvious. And if you’re a feminist, you should probably embrace women being able to leverage their looks into money in the way Colleen has. She doesn’t post anything that would be considered overly sexy/provocative. She just posts her life as a runner and looks hot while doing it and is reaping the rewards. It would be one thing if people were calling other runners ugly on the boards which I haven’t seen.

Athletes (as the rest of the world uses the term) should be the biggest popular-culture stars in the world. This silly website furthers the cause, so let's celebrate them all.
The world doesn’t work that way, homie.
Colleen Quigley- 234k instagram followers
Molly Siedel- 77k instagram followers
Molly Huddle- 106k instragram followers
It is very clear now why Quiqley is the best athlete for Saucony.

She could just be testing them out, but she is wearing saucing shoes in this video on her Instagram story (bottom right corner, it’s sorta brief)

She's also wearing a nike shirt in one of the newest stories
I don’t think her IG is really that relevant here, she doesn’t command the type of influence that a celebrity can.
It’s nice for Saucony to get some exposure on IG but in reality will people really switch out their Nike’s. Doubtful.

What's that you say about sub elite runners?

Because so many people are watching track races. You have no idea how marketing works nowadays then.

100% agree. If I imagine marrying someone who is inaccessible to me, you know, just a fantasy, I skip right over movie stars to Molly Huddle. Not kidding, I really dig her that much.
That having been said, I'm not convinced that's what gets these ladies these fat deals. I mean, dudes have these same gigs. Even goofy looking ones.
If Saucony wanted to reach people there are hundreds of girls with millions of followers. Quig is small time.

Thank you. At least someone knows how this works.
Drew Hunter with his youtube and brand and 13:20 is 10x as valuable woody kincaid with no social media presence and 12:58.
I’ll admit Colleen is the only “pro” runner I follow and it’s because she’s attractive. I don’t care if she finished dead last in every race. I have no interest in the other women mentioned ran their last interval in on Instagram. Just stating facts that I only follow based on looks.

Are you arguing just to argue? Or are you that stupid? Obviously the person needs some credibility as an elite runner. But once they are at the level of Colleen, Karissa, Shelby, etc.... it really doesn’t matter who is better. They are all close enough.

Tread carefully. People will call for you to be stoned to death for comments like this.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. Credibility has gone out the window. People promote all kinds of garbage on IG that they don’t even use, and it doesn’t matter as long as people see it. IG is a cess pool these days.

Saucony had a runner who debuted in the marathon, and debuted in your new super shoe which resulted in an Olympic Team spot and you fail to resign her (Seidel)?
On top of that they failed to market that perspective? I think Seidels performance is the only time I've been persuaded to give a shoe a shot by a runners perfromance.
How do you pass on Seidel and sign Quigley? Laughable
I can agree with parts of this. I think they should have resigned Seidel but LRC time & time again fails to see marketing. Seidel has 77k IG followers versus 234k for Quigley. Who is going to sell more shoes the next 4 years? Who do you want to build your brand around? It's not like Quigley isn't an Olympian too & hasn't made multiple teams.
I don't think it's laughable at all to pass on Seidel and sign Quigley to replace Huddle if all of this pans out.
She just posted something on IG in full nike gear
