Cole Hocker recently posted on Instagram about the mile from Friday and in the comments, his teammate Carter Christman commented "your move" with Centro tagged. Well, it seemed like Centro didn't take too kindly to it as you can probably read and it didn't come off as sarcasm either.

I mean it wouldn't be the United States of F--king America if you didn't get defensive and punch back even harder right?
Sure this is just a stupid track conversation but it's this society in a nutshell.
You really have 3 options here...
1) You ignore it (because who cares, you are one of the all-time greats for your nation and one of only a handful of men to win the Olympic 1500)
2) You congratulate the guy make some fun out of it and maybe self-deprecate a little and really endear yourself to the average track fan
3) You get ultra-defensive, puff your chest out and let a college kid get you all emotional and your cortisol levels through the roof.
So easy to come out of this looking well and instead you come out of it looking like a tw@t.
EQ of this place never ceases to amaze me. Nice job Centro - "well handled".
