After a very fast 14 on Sunday, being dragged along by two faster runners, I caught a cold (probably from the kids, with school back in session). 3 days completely off to get over it, or at least get to the point where I could train without conflicting with the normal recovery from a cold.
It seems to have worked as I've pretty much put the cold behind. Came back on Saturday for a two mile tempo run at 5:45 pace and a Sunday 14 with the last mile in 5:45.
Total for week - about 30. This is after ten weeks at 65 to 70.
