I'm in my second solid year of not taking time out of my life to watch live sports with intention.
Perusing the boards, will probably watch some Netflix soon, maybe read a little before bed. What say you?

Thinking about drinking
I know I shouldn’t

What are you going to talk to about with your coworkers tomorrow?
Oh I'll look at a recap and know what's up

Not really into watching a bunch of guys work on developing CTE. Such an unfortunate consequence that far too many football players end up suffering with. I can no longer support the sport.
Thinking about upping my mileage from ... uh, 7-ish mpw to a whopping 10 mpw. Sounds ridiculous, ha. Well, that's where I'm at ?

I pray to a statue of Fauci, thanking him for saving me from the Superbowl.
Cruising LRC before I go back to generating addresss labels for recruiting letters. My wife is watching the Stupor Bowl--only game she watches every year--and she'll be able to fill me in on anything I need to know.
yeah but I wanna was your first time to come over and see what I wrote:

Update: did both.
I had been talking to my mom about going to her house for dinner. Then she mentioned the Super Bowl, reminding me of its existence, and I told her there was no way I was coming over while the Super Bowl was on, of all nights. It’s not that I’m an ungrateful and unloving son, I just have such a problem with society’s conventions. My mom, for the record, is no football fan. I don’t get it.
As for the drinking, I’m gonna down this six pack of Lagunitas Little Sumpin’ by myself. As for the Chinese food, I ordered the curry chicken with onion and the house special egg foo young, because, especially having worked in food service myself, I can’t bring myself to order just one entree via a delivery service. I remember preparing a single order of oatmeal to be delivered by an online delivery service and being astounded by the logistics, money and gasoline going into this person’s basic oats.
I'm watching a bunch of imposters wearing Chiefs uniforms get completely worked. Can't be the Super Bowl.
Watching Miami Vice season 1.
Hosing the dog crap ? off my sidewalk that some lazy ass neighbor was too stupid to pick up. Hate lazy dog owners and dogs too. To hell with them both.

Bag seems easier bro
My motorcycle broke down after putting gas with water in it so I pushed it to a gas station and took an Uber home, then grabbed the car to go try and fix the bike. It's a Prius. Then the car broke down on the way there, so I ordered a tow from AAA and the ETA was two hours. So I ran home since I was only a half mile from home and grabbed the van. Then I drove the van down to the auto parts store and got a siphon and brought it to the bike at the gas station. I siphoned out as much gas as I could and I was about to put some fresh gas in when I got a notification on my phone that the tow driver was on the way to the Prius. So I got back in the van and drove back to the car, which was on a hill with the hazard lights on. I got to the car a couple of minutes after the tow driver arrived. The problem with the Prius was that the big exclamation mark ⚠️ triangle came on so I pulled over to check it out. There was no explanation and when I tried to turn it back on the car wouldn't start. The AAA tow driver checked the battery first. The Prius "utility" battery is in the back. When the power is totally dead, the hatch back will not open from the outside. You have to climb inside and lift up the rear panel to access the battery terminals. So the driver did that. First I had to move a bunch of stuff I had back there. So we opened up the battery compartment and I saw what I think was the problem. I had hooked up a little SAE connector to the battery terminals which is another story, but the SAE connector was all wet and corroded. It had probably been shorting ever since a recent rain storm. ?️ So he towed the car to my house and I hooked it up to the charger after removing the shorting connector. Then I got in the van and headed back down to the bike to continue with it. I tried to siphon more gas out but that seemed to be as much as I could get, although I could still hear some liquid sloshing around in the tank when I shook it. I brought it to the nearby pump ⛽ and put 1 gallon of gas in it. Then I tried to start it up but it wouldn't start. The attached service shop was closed but the attendant offered to let me keep my bike in the shop over night so I did that and drove the van home. And that was my afternoon basically.
Thanks, I found this strangely entertaining.
This all happened before the Super Bowl? What did you do during the game?
Seems to me I would have put much more than 1 gallon in the bike before testing it. Dramatically alter the ratio of gas to residual water, you know?
that sounds terrible. You have my symptathies
I hope you get everything resolved smoothly soon.
Watched the game. Took Tampa on the moneyline.
worked my land. I dug 29 holes this weekend: 10 for a batting cage for my children, and 19 for plants. I returned the rented skid steer with my pops, moved my motorhome, and mowed the lawn, organized tools, and played with my dog. My family was at the in-laws enjoying the game, I ate the left-overs they brought home.
I haven't watched a complete superbowl in my life--just never been interested in it. I used to race a half marathon in the morning, and would watch it in the afternoon, but always fell asleep 5 minutes in, and slept through the whole show. And nowadays with the feel-good social justice commercials, and every group pushing an agenda, I know i would get worked up. Instead of getting upset, I get to work. I don't watch much TV anyway, I get too antsy and need to move around.
