Generally you can know if you're sprinter type when you're a kid playing around.
When you were playing ball games, or tag games, or etc. were you often the fastest or among the fastest ?
If you were, you're most likely a fast twitch.
For if you're endurant, that's more complicated and usually discovered later in life when playing a sport witch a coach, or testing yourself on a mile.
Fast twitchers usually will be able to pop a really fast 100 or 200 with very little training. It's pretty easy to know if you're fast twitch with just some running training. Being the fastest kid when you're very young is not a good predictor, you could simply just be faster than a bunch of slow unathletic kids. That was the case with me when I was in elementary or middle school; when I took up running again after college, a year of 800 training got me a 12.8 100m, a pace most good high school sprinters could hold for 400m or more easily.
Jump. Measure your vertical from a stand and taking 3 steps: both one and two-footed jump.
Find a set of steps, such as at a stadium.
Do the steps as fast as you can, but one at a time.
Then try the same as fast as you can, but two at a time.
If you excel at all of these, you have substantial fast-twitch.
If you aren't that good, but then feel like doing many reps to improve, you probably are not as much fast-twitch.
I don't know about this one.
1st - I'm built like a bodybuilder.
2nd I can sprint like a beast for 100 meters.
I have great endurance but I'm slow A.F.
I never get sore. I run 7 days a week. But I'm slow A.F.
Basically you know by your prs. If you are like me people laughed at you when you attempted to sprint but nobody in my school could have taken me at a 2 mole race.
If your that kid that runs sub 11 in the 100 bu the 800 feel like a Marathon then you are more fast twitch reliant.
The athletes in between are those athletes that can pretty much do everything. You know who those kids are. They make great 800 meter runners.

Can you run 10.5 in the 100m? If no, you are the latter. Pump up the miles.
If you fast twitch you could do one or more of the following, run fast with no training jump higher than normal, lift lot of weight without training.
If you slow twitch you likely have great endurance, have a wiry build and are not that strong but can do slot of bodyweight reps.
While you won't know for sure without a muscle biopsy, you likely are more slow than fast twitch like most people. However you can change your fiber types to a certain degree (scientists are not sure how much). Certain fiber are hybrids and will change with training, so if you want to be more fast twitch lift weights or sprint, if you want to be more slow twitch do more distance running.
Lastly fast twitch and slow twitch are and over simplification, their are 8 sub types and they all contract at different speeds, it is not cut and dry it some are fast and some are super slow, and then there's the opposite.
If you’re asking - you’re not fast twitch.
You just know.
Black=Fast twitch
White=Slow twitch
humans are slow twitch in general. Even the fastest sprinters. I would say one of the best ways to know if you are above average white muscle fiber composition is just by knowing if you are fast, jump high, and are very good explosive movements.
Age-grade all your PRs.
Your highest age graded event likely tells you about your physiology ... or get a muscle biopsy.

You are thinking of West African / Caribbean (/most U.S.) black.
You may have heard that East African runners have some slow twitch.

Sounds like you can't actually sprint.
Slow twitch for you.
Take a genetics test like 23andme, it will tell you which genes you have. I personally have 1 of each of fast twitch gene and endurance gene.

Fast twitch genes? Fast twitch is the muscle fibre type. The gene involved in determining such types is ACTN3.

It was entirely clear what he was saying.
Do you have Asperger's?
There's a test for that:

Also the variation between a "slow twitch" or "fast twitch" dominant athlete is very minute.
Humans are still mostly slow twitch even the "fast twitch" dominant ones.
Muscle fiber type also varies by muscle group as some are very predominantly slow and some are very predominantly fast.

if people laughed at you when you tried to sprint your sprinting form was probably terrible. That's just as important of a factor as your muscle fiber type. I was probably intermediate because I could get good speed but I couldn't accelerate fast, but honestly even kids who were definitely slow twitch could accelerate better than me. It's also bodily proportions and coordination. I'm sure I could have been competitive as a 100m sprinter if I learned the right form though, because it's not really about how fast you accelerate but how long you can keep accelerating for.
