I agree but it will happen almost immediately in high school and college. The left will embrace people that they determine meet their definition of transgender but they will not be as supportive of a kid who they determine is a right winger taking advantage of the rules.

Iaaf would never let it happen; it was not my intention to suggest such.

But what if US Olympics was forced to pick a team based on what Biden suggests, now that would be quite something.

I was suggesting that 12 born males throwing the shot 4K shot 70 foot plus in one competition this spring would collect a few minds and make the whole thing look stupid.

If it was College level then 80 foot plus plus.

You don't seem to understand that a boy can't run on the girls' track team at most high schools if the boy thinks that he is a girl. Biden's EO is attempting to create that opportunity for every boy or girl. Most high schools don't allow boys in the girls' bathrooms either.

A transgender athlete has to have approval from a mental health professional, but she can compete without hormone treatment in many states, including California.

Given that transgender athletes are already allowed to compete in most states, Biden's EO isn't attempting to do anything regarding sports.

Sure but where are you going to find 12 born males who have been on hormone suppression for 12 months (or whatever the IOC requirement is these days) who can throw the shot 70'? Good lucking finding even one. Remember how that that 1:55/3:50/14:38 guy was going to destroy the competition after transitioning? Didn't come close to happening.

Outside of HS where you can check a box and compete a week later, so far this hasn't been a big issue. I sort of doubt it will be in any time soon.

Yes it is. He wants to allow people to be free to identify as whatever gender they choose to and not be questioned or prohibited from living a life of that gender. They won't have to drop their drawers are be subjected to testing or drug treatments. Those things go against equal treatment because girls who were female at birth are not required to do any of those things.

Bullsh*t. Congress does not dictate NCAA and USATF policies so any challenges to the rules will have to be litigated in court. Renee Richards won the right to compete about 45 years ago and no judge in the U.S. is going to rule for male athletes to compete "as-is" in women's sports. Allowing that in the NCAA and professional levels would be supported by less than 1% of the population. There are few people, because of bullying and shunning, that transgender in HS, and competing in a sport would make them even a bigger target.

I remember having to race 2 Ethiopian men during high-school. They were both super nice guys, but easily 20+ years old racing a bunch of 16 year olds. We didn’t even have a chance.
