Not into "cancel culture" but i don't have a strong reaction to it. Anyone affected by this in a negative ways is probably a scum bag anyway and Strava doesn't want their business.
Anyhow, I left Strava for privacy related issues.

Big legacy media doesn't have the stranglehold on information/news/editorialization that they used to. This is an important point that you need to address! Just because some big social media companies are enforcing stricter moderation does not mean viewpoint exposure/accessibility, as a whole, is worse that it was 5,10,20 years ago. Like Harambe said, when tens of millions watch Newsmax and OANN from their homes... the status quo seems to be amplifying more far-right viewpoints than ever before! companies like Facebook, Google, Apple receive billions in corporate welfare.
The popularity of those two outlets (along with the BreitBart and DailyWires of the world) is a very recent phenomenon. OAM was formed in 2013 - the organization has only really seen two administrations and no one knew about that a year ago... compare that to CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS which have been around for decades. That gives them the veneer of established credibility that you don't get with the start-ups - you're not making an apples to apples comparison.
But you're missing the bigger point: the Left view is ubiquitous. If someone is watching Newsmax, they know they are seeking out an alternative view - if you're watching CNN, it could be at a friends/family's home, in an airport, at a bar, in a hotel, etc).
Furthermore, it is not just the news media. It's the college/university, NBA/NFL/MLB/NASCAR, morning/daytime shows like GMA and The View, elementary/middle/high schools, Hollywood, Big Tech (Twitter, FB, today Google sent me a notification that I should listen to some old Obama-hack's new podcast - what?! - what kind of algorithm would be recommending that to me? Where's the recommendation that I or you listen to Rush or Howie Carr?), increasingly corporations, emails from Saucony, postings from Strava - the list goes on. It's been oppressive since Obama's time in office.
It surrounds and saturates our society - Leftist ideas are being pushed on the populace as though it is the norm. Strava is now part of this echo chamber.
Again: what would our populace vote/behave like without being inundated with Leftist ideas everyday in every aspect of life. How many marginal, low-information Democrats do you know that only vote 'D' because they've been conditioned to believe they are inherently doing the right thing? If these Dem were given a fair picture of society, Republican/Conservatives take over the country 65-70% to 35-30% everywhere.
Not sure how old this photo is but if they really value that kinda stuff, should practice what they preach in hiring.

Good photo, thanks. *Zero* black people in this photo. What's up with that Strava?
Another example of either "rules for thee but not for me" or "confession through projection".
deleting strava, emailing their executives, and notifying the BBB.
the BLM RIOTS were not peaceful
The people at the capital were not domestic terrorists
Since when is the capital an exclusive, sacred place? We should be allowed to walk right in and see the politicians who represent us. Nothing was "breached"

Yeah, I'm really tired of scumbags. I think that everyone is finally getting tired of scumbags. It's about time. I'm glad that Strava and other companies are starting to speak out against them.
The most shared articles on Facebook are routinely, Shapiro, Newsmax, TPUSA, etc. Again... you're appealing to legacy media which is, by and large, dying. More people listen to Joe Rogan than watch broadcast news. You are just asserting these "feelings" you have about being inundated with "leftist ideas." 80 million people voted for Trump! I fail to see evidence of widespread oppression or silencing, but I understand it's value as a rallying cry or rhetorical tactic. I don't support arbitrary or needlessly strict moderation practices - but these companies have a right to do so.
+1. That companies shouldn't be allowed to determine who they sponsor is the funniest contention from this "conservative".

Harambe, your arguments always seem to rely on a ridiculous strawman.
Did someone who is arguing that there is a complete blackout of conservative conversations just accuse someone ELSE of resorting to strawman arguments?
this x1000. bunch of babies, hiding like turtles from opinions they disagree with
Wow you're amazing. I bet you are a great person with no skeletons in your closet. Tell me about your virtuous ways.
Right.
They should feed the narrative of terrorists and racists.
Seem logical.
Why do you feel so threatened?
I'm surprised folks think this is controversial? This isn't really a partisan issue. A violent mob went to the building that houses our legislative branch and tried to overthrow a free and fair election. Whether you were excited about election's results or not, that was waaaaay out of line and incredibly undemocratic. We should be alarmed, it's a big deal. So no, Strava's message wasn't partisan/political or inappropriate. Trump supporter or no, you have to draw the line somewhere. Respecting the outcome of a fair election is the bare minimum for a functioning democracy and people should speak out about it on any platform they have.

Not political. It's pathetic that you're even trying to make this case. What happen on Jan 6th was an act of domestic terrorism spurred on by Trump and his enablers because Trump's ego left no room for him to lose gracefully. The protests this summer were spurred on because a Black man was murdered by a group of police officer, which sadly we've seen happen too many times before.
Stop trying to give reverence to "both sides". Trumpism is fascism, and fascists are never looked kindly upon in history.
I'd suggest instead of posting about a running app hurting your feelings on a running board you educate yourself on the Black American experience and the dark history of the US.
How did Trump spur it on? Be exact. Ill hang up and listen.

This is proof that there is no "monopoly" on information dissemination. Two very right-aligned networks grew to millions of viewers in only a few years!
It is hard to see what your argument is if there is no monopoly.
Do you think right-wing views should be more popular de facto? How do you propose to make that happen? Scratching your head and saying "why is my Obama-birther buddy not getting promoted by google? It couldn't be because he has unpopular fringe beliefs!?" is a little funny.
Side note: it's funny that you think much of America is brainless, brainwashed automata performing leftist rituals in obedience to their media overlords... when the most watched cable news is FOX (about as much CNN and MSNBC combined!). If far-right views were so appealing... why have market forces not made them dominant over the preceding decades?
Who still has Strava? This is still a thing?
Hey guys, maybe we could ask Parler to add a training log to the app?

Parler
Feels like they missed a trick calling it that.
If only there was a 6 letter name synonymous with the far right, also ending in "ler".
A name that has a proven track record of bringing on board millions of white people.
Huge marketing opportunity.
Yes. I did.
