Yet another environmentalist that doesn't have a clue what he is talking about. Sorry to break it to you, but increased use of "Clean Energy" require increased use of natural gas (gas which is obtained most often by fracking). Why? Because basically every time they add a wind farm, solar PV farm, etc., they have to pair it with a natural gas turbine plant, because the wind doesn't always blow and the sun doesn't always shine, and the only way to accommodate that intermittency is with either hydro / pump back hydro (which aren't always viable / available), battery storage (which isn't cost effective and has a slew of environmental issues associated with it) or gas fired turbines. So, like it or not, increased use of "Clean Energy" typically requires an increased reliance on natural gas.
