There are some really inspirational female runners who’ve made comebacks and/or improved significantly in their mid-late 30s like Hall and D’Amato. I couldn’t think of any male runners who’ve done something similar off the top of my head, so my question is can anyone think of any male runners who improved to national or world class level late in there career, either after a long break or a late start in the sport? The closest examples I could think of are the guys like Lopes, Lagat, Meb, Willis, etc. who maintained a high level into their later careers.
