It's all bullspit
Love you, Unkle. You are "told that the virus is again surging". And you don't believe it? I am asking just because I want to know more about the mood in USA for the time being.
Of course not. Still not s single glimpse of it in real life. When the media tells me the virus is "lurking" and even "stalking" people, I know I am being fear mongered. In other words, lied to.
We were fear mongered last March and April here in MA that hospitals were being "overwhelmed" (one of the words that have been used again and again to produce fear -- along with surging, spiking, soaring, raging, epi-centers, clusters, super-spreaders, et al). By the end of April it was admitted that the hospitals never did get overwhelmed -- due to lockdowns, social distancing, and mask wearing. For the next five months we were daily shown favorable numbers here in MA as, unlike those dumb rednecks down south, we were socially distancing and wearing masks. By October we began to be told of increasing numbers and are now back into the spiking and soaring narrative. Why? Because we apparently stopped social distancing and wearing masks. Once again, our fault. Of course anyone paying attention knows that there has actually been an increase in mask wearing and no reduction in social distancing the past month or two. It's all such an obvious lie.
