I've been critical of CC in the past but have a tiny bit of more sympathy than most of you. I really don't like the quotes where the anti-doping authorities admit they told the testers not to call. Personally, I dont think they should call but I 100% think they should be consistent.

Raphael Roux, the AIU’s Out-of-Competition Manager, said he ordered the DCO not to call Coleman for three reasons (quoted from the decision):
(i) the Athlete had in the relatively recent past missed four tests, and missed tests were always a warning sign in relation to an athlete
(ii) in the past there had been a combination of very good performances by the Athlete and missed tests
(iii) he had an impression that the Athlete might have been forewarned on previous tests
If you are five minutes from your house and they always call, I can see why you think you have nothing to worry about. It's kind of like Supreme Court precedent - it sort of becomes a law unofficially.
So if they always called before, I do think it should have been made clear to him after the September fiasco. "Hey, moving forward, we are NEVER going to call you or anyone else."
The point of the anti-doping game shouldn't be to play gotcha and catch the most important person in track and field - the men's 100 favorite. on three missed tests. The point should be to have a anti-doping system that actually works - so you either catch them doping or deter them from doing it.
What also bothers me about this is the time of year. Let's say he is a doper. Would he really be doping during this time of year? It was early December, I imagine he's barely training at all. Any doping experts on here, would you dope all year long? Or just in peak season?
Now the fact that he seemingly lied about his whereabouts does bother me. But I want more details. What is his house address? What is the Walmart address? What is the Chipotle address? What exactly did he buy at Walmart? I guess i lean strong towards he was lying as aren't there security cameras all over Walmart but I'd still to have all the details.
