I'm sure Chris Fox could land a job in the NCAA again quite quickly....
Nike should buy them.
Can't have anyone upstage Tinman, can we? At the marathon trials alone that group had a better showing collectively than Tinman ever has.

I am tempted to believe goes a little deeper than the performance of two mid-tier pro running groups
Oh, I am sure too, but who doesn't love taking digs at Tinman?
Adidas would sell Tinman but they wouldn't get one offer

Do they even officially sponsor Tinman? I know Hunter and Parsons have contracts but from what I've heard they just give the rest of the semi pros a little bit of gear and allow them to sell Adidas merch with the logo on it.

+1
I know Adidas has their area, but for running shoes alone, I do feel that Reebok has far eclipsed Adidas at this point, whether you're looking for an everday trainer or a carbon shoe.
The Reebok foam is better than Boost in almost every way. Adidas should be using that for their shoes

Reebok has a carbon plated shoe?
Anyone in the industry for more than a minute could predict this. Reebok is a dog and unable to be saved.
Signing with Reebok has always been foolish.
I wish Adidas would just pillage the floatride foam factory and start putting that in the Adios and Boston.

Yeah exactly and the new Adidas shoe performed really well at the world halfs, Reebok is a lost cause.
I seriously doubt this is about the running division of Reebok at all. My guess is that adidas feels they've maxed out the Reebok name in the casual shoe/ lifestyle shoe market.
Might be a good thing for Reebok's running line as they've really stepped their game up the last few years. Wish their marketing was better and then we'd actually see more people trying them. Or maybe I don't wish that so I can continue to pick up their shoes at massive discounts.
Their biggest problem right now is just getting space on retailers' wall. They are completely irrelevant to the average/weekend warrior type runner.
Heck, I bet the average runner is more familiar with Under Armour selling running shoes at this point...at least you can find these at Dicks Sporting Goods and Marshals/TJ Maxx
the reebok floatride run has to be the worst shoe ive ever worn running. maybe the foam is good but the entire upper of the shoe is terrible, i have regular mens feet and they felt like they were constricting the blood in my feet no matter how lose i had them.. must be designed for men with weird little skinny womens feet..
It's Adidas that goes home... not Reebok. It's either Adidas doing very poor or Reebok very well, or both
This board likes to think that Running Specially Stores are for hobby joggers but that mindset has no idea how the economics of the sport work.
If a shoe brand does not sell at retail then upper management will be fired. This happens at Reebok every 3-5 years for the the last 30 years.
This means that the new management will change what was done by the previous management. This also means that a Pro Running training group will only last as long as the management team.
I love the floatrides. However outside of some running shoes and owning CrossFit gear what does sports is Reebok in anymore?
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
