I’m a 8th grader going into spring track season and I want to have some good times in the 1600m, 800m, and the 400m. Does anyone have an idea of how many base training miles I should do over the winter. And what should the plan look like

It's a long time until track season, so at this point you're mainly concerned about long-term development. Your goal is to get to the start of track season ready to work.
So for now, your plan might be to do mostly easy runs, with one day a bit longer, one day with some hills, and strides whenever you feel fresh. If it starts to feel too easy, you can increase each day by a mile.
What have you ran already and what do you want to run? How much have you done in the past?
I haven’t got to run track yet since it got cancelled last year. But so far my mile is 5:35 and my 2 mile is 11:58.
Thank you

I had a 5:20 1 mile in 8th grade and never ran in the offseason. I did wrestling tho, which got me in super good shape. I'd suggest easy runs 5 days a week with a longer run one day and then strides if you feel like it.
20-30 min a day 5 days a week
Enjoy it
Thanks everyone this was a big help
