Cute...rekrunner, that's basically what the Liberals say about FOX NEWS (you must be a Leftist?). OTOH, CNN is an "entertainment department" that caters to the Left. ?

Too bad there isn't any credible RCTs to show that - there's several studies out there in the literature that fail to demonstrate that masks stop the spread of viruses. Here's a list of the studies as well as a good debate on the issue between Dr. Rancourt (negative) & Dr. Johnson (affirmative):

That's not correct because Schumacher has testified in ABP-hematological anomalies CAS hearings as to his opinion to performance increases with elite runners. These hearings involve elite runners, not "sub-elite," not "highly trained amateurs," etc, - he's providing a professional opinion for the arbitrator as to an estimate of performance enhancement (I've explained that to you many times before).

This is your classic hypocrisy. If you don't agree with the expert(s) that I quote & reference from then it becomes your "Appeal to Authority" monta. I can say the same thing: You're a Fauci advocate and have quoted & reference from him before. I don't agree with much of what he says - perhaps you should apply the same "Appeal to Authority" philosophy with him. Lol.
Furthermore, Gupta doesn't have a "single opinion." She's one of the framers of the "Great Barrington Declaration" that has been acknowledged & signed by many other top scientists. I would suggest you read it and get a different view on an alternative strategy (other than lockdowns, restrictions, masks, etc) to combat the virus:

Yes...the "mandate language" does matter! It's called the LAW and every criminal statue has specific language so as to determine if there's probable cause to make an arrest. The lady is in a place of public accommodation (middle school football stadium). She tells the officer she was "asthma," and, additionally, is outside away from non-family members not violating social distancing protocol - both exemptions to the Ohio mask mandate "law" signed by the governor. Officers of the "law" should be familiar with the "law" in order to determine if there's probable cause to arrest:
I don't know what "leftist" means to you, or why that is important -- I was educated in a university in a school of science and learned about the scientific process and fundamental logic. I don't pick my "news" based on what channel it comes from. And I don't take medical recommendations from the news.
We cannot wait for RCTs to issue guidelines for a disease that spread worldwide in a matter of months. Trial and error is also effective science, and we know what worked in China, and Asia, and Italy and Spain and Sweden, and we know what failed in the UK and the USA and Brazil. I don't really care about Dr. Rancourt or Dr. Johnson, unless they work for the WHO or the CDC, tasked with preparing recommendations or guidelines.
One pattern I have noticed is that countries whose populations debate masks also have high infection rates and high death tolls.
Schumacher has testified in CAS hearings -- this is true. But it is you who try to explain what his opinion means in contexts outside of the CAS hearing. I don't fault Schumacher, but you (and others) who try to interpret Schumacher's non-peer reviewed opinions, out of context.
Regarding the professor Gupta, it is not a question of agreeing or disagreeing with an expert. I don't agree with Fauci because of his status, but because of his approach and method and his content. I don't need to artificially prop up Fauci by saying things like "world renowned expert" in bold and italics, as a substitute for basis and process.
The mask mandate language is irrelevant if she was arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest. A policeman is not a lawyer. A lawyer might get her off later, but that is for the courts to decide, not a policeman at that moment. The fact is that she was asked to leave, refused to leave, and then resisted arrest. It is not very smart to resist the direction of a police officer. She deserved to be tased and handcuffed and arrested for her failure to respect authority.
