I know the tapering process is somewhat controversial with some people advocating for a drastic cut while others don't. And when it should start etc.
As it stands, my 15 week plan has me peak at week 12 in mileage with a 23 mile long run and 69 miles
Week 13 has a 16 mile long run and is 56 miles total
Week 14 has a 13 mile long run and 53 miles total
Week 15 (Race Week) is 18 miles excluding the marathon.
I feel like this is a severe cut but i thought i should ask you guys before I finalized it.
P.S. to those who have been following my threads yes I am increasing my mileage a bit from my old intended average because i've gotten aerobically stronger in the last few months in my confusing hodgepodge of a training schedule.
