What?
Woah they have a weird cartoon image on the track representing the record, quickly sped us up from 4 mins to 16 mins to 30 mins...
Now they say they are live at 45 mins, Kosgei and Hassan

Looks like Kosegi leading Hasan 1-2 at 40 minutes. Only one other runner in the shot about 15m back. Per Tim Rowberry’s Instagram story (Sifan’s coach)
what is the gap 1 to 2 now, and 2 to 3, and who is 3?
Woah that was quick, must not have been live because now at 54 mins...

What?
time thru 40 laps, 16k
No gap at 55 mins between Hassan and Kosgei, but Hassan just took the lead
So by 45 minutes it was a 2 woman race. 55 minutes in, Hasan passes Kosgei. The pace is slowing down big time all of the suden. THey went 74.96 then 78.64. 56:30ish Kosgei comes back into the lead.
Slow gamesmanship with 5 minutes to go.
57.17 at 18k, 2.43 to go, Kosgei
60 seconds to go! record already smashed to smithereens
65.80 lap
Gotcha my bad
That was pretty cool. I've never seen someone run for time. Like you don't know when to kick.
Yeah finished on the backstretch, at about where the 1500m starts.
Sifan Hassan didn't really have it clear until that last 100.
As much as i like to **** on the vaporflys, I wish Kosgei had been allowed to wear them.
"Maybe she's just a super responder to them." I'd like to give her a beter chance. Anyone know what half marathon pace they were oN?
Did anyone else see when Hassan started to kick, it looked like she did indeed lap the WaveLight system? Makes sense since she beat the record by about 415 meters!
