Decent showing, guess he is just made for the mountains

With no Euros, he was the favorite. Good on him for delivering the goods!
Yeah. Small guy, strong legs and does a ton of climbing training runs. Congrats to him! Definitely the biggest win and most impressive race of his running career.
SETH IS THE GOAT

He ran faster than all of the Euros not named Killian did last year. His really good week will continue since he should hit 100,000 youtube subscribers tomorrow or Tuesday.

Here is what may be even more impressive. The way he shared his build-up to this peak race on his vlog. I'm not referring to his shoe reviews. I mean the countless hours of stretching, foam rolling, core work, plyometrics and gym work that he puts in and documents in the daily journey, including the tough times of dealing with injuries.
To do that with watchable videos takes talent, and many hours of hard work behind the scenes. And just as an example of his 'eye' for video, look at this subtle framing from a snippet in his Kendall Mountain Race vlog, where he is running toward the camera, pre-race, with the mountain he is going to run behind him in the shot.
https://ibb.co/37g3CBmThe little touches like that, though subtle, can make the video all more interesting.
And then he will sometimes just riff with a stream of consciousness, like on todays vlog regarding his race strategy, being open with the viewers, including his competition. He sometimes lets us in on his 'secret sauce', too.
are you celebrating Seth's win this evening?
What I like about Seth is his work ethic. He definitely put the work in for this one. I should definitely focus on mountain racing for a year or so. I know he wants be a Olympic trials contender but he’s got time to that.
There's going to be naysayers because this is LR, but Seth is putting out solid running content and we should all be happy for him. For full disclosure, I don't know Seth or anyone associated with him (although he did twice like my runs on Strava). I'm a middle-aged hobby jogger (former low-level pro cyclist who tried to move up during the doping era) in the Midwest (Madison, WI) who follows lots of professional runners on YouTube and IG. Seth's content is better than almost every single active runner, even if he isn't as good of a runner. I'd watch his stuff every morning over CoD MF twitch steaming or Devil & King of Boulder circle jerks (btw, later is better than the former for commode content).
In life, we're all just trying to find and protect our nut. So can we just celebrate when any runner figures it out what her or his nut looks like and how to keep is safe? Like I'd bet 80% of you, I love running (and riding for me), but I spend most of every day doing something else to pay the bills.
Seth wins PPM. Sage stays at home....devasted!
I like him but think he is a little over the top with staging his cameras. All I think is, so he jogged over there, put the camera on the ground, ran past the camera, then jogged back to get it. What a waste of time! Even worse is him filming himself getting out of bed, because he obvisouly already got up to turn on his camera. However, I guess he can justify what I find to be pretty silly, since he almost has 100k subscribers, is getting free shoes and gear left and right and is probably making some solid Youtube money.

Well sure, he is living his Truman show life, but without a film crew on-hand, he has to do all the work himself; go figure.
BTW, for those that missed it, here is the PPM trophy:

where's that from? I don't see any youtube videos since the one from early this morning
His twitter account.
I can't watch much of his videos. I do like the way he covered the mountain running championships last year.
But huge congratulations! On PPM. I will watch any follow up or race review videonhe does on it.

Sage set a FKT on a 14er earlier this week before the air quality plummeted even further, so yes, he did not make the trip down to the Springs. I'm sure he regrets it /s

You mean how he ran alongside each elite as they passed, and told them over and over to stay relaxed?
I'm sure that wasn't annoying at all.
That was funny. Didn't he also get trapped on a ski lift and missed the finish?
That’s what I like about him. Enthusiasm, positive, fun and out going. Pretty much the opposite of the year 2020. Plus he is not afraid of making mistakes. I enjoy his vlogs. But I could see why some might not.
Who cares ! Let’s just congratulate him! He worked hard on this.

Sage drank beer, ate ice cream and pi$$ed and moaned about people not social distancing on social media while Seth went about business and got himself into the shape of his life while blogging daily and providing for a boatload of kids. Now, we can say Seth is faster than Sage.
