While Covid is a very controversial topic it seems there are several things we can agree on:
1) Some people have or have had Covid;
2) More people don’t have or haven’t had Covid;
3) Some people have or have had Covid with no symptoms;
4) Some people with Covid have mild to severe symptoms;
5) Some people with Covid have been hospitalized;
6) Some people with Covid who were hospitalized recovered and were discharged;
7) Some discharged Covid patients are fine and some have lingering side effects;
8) Some people with Covid have died from Covid and some people with Covid have died for other reasons;
9) None of us want, or want our loved ones, to get the flu or Covid (or many other diseases);
10) Shutting down the country because of Covid impacted the economy and the economy is currently impacted by Covid.
Many of these statements are true of other diseases (cancer, heart disease, the flu, etc, etc, etc). These are not judgments or statements of right or wrong, I’m trying to establish what people on this board view as facts. Do those seem reasonable statements we can agree on? No angle here, just trying to understand
