Kejelcha is in th 1500m !!!!
Christophe Lemaitre is in the 200m with the two Lyles.
Too bad Kejelcha is not on the 5000m with Cheptegei.
Did Koko fail a Covid test? Not seeing her name anywhere.

Agree! Excited for the meet over though confused why the 1,000 on the women’s side exactly instead of breaking into both an 800 and 1500.

Well I thought everyone was saying Jakob doesn't have the speed Kejelcha has so Kejelcha should be able to beat Jakob by 3-4 seconds here no?
No Bowermans?
I guess none of them wanted to risk the plane travel
so it would appear this will be on around 1:30 pm next Friday afternoon? I am referring to United states EDT.
will have to look into nbc sports gold or whatever, unless there is another way.

Straw man. Kejelcha’s advantage over Jakob is endurance not speed. Guy has run 12:45 and gotten a 10k Silver. In the 15, it’s a toss up if he’s sharp. In the 5, in a World Record attempt you’d favor Kejelcha to beat Jakob by 10 seconds which could still be a big PB and great run.

She has been added to the 5000m startlist now.

That's a good thing, it needs to be a solo WR attempt rather than turn into a tactical race.

I’m sensing a theme...predict with your mind not your heart.
It does not seem as loaded as it usually is, There does not seem to be as many Kenyans and Ethiopians as well. Maybe a lot of Athletes are taking the season off.
No Ethiopians in the men’s 5,000 stinks. They have their two top guns in the Steeple, so unclear why no Barega/Gebrhiwet/other Bekele...
He beat 3:31 guy Tifera handily so it will be interesting when faces Kejelcha!!!!
Exactly, endurance is the difference. That's why there are no 12:50 white guys (yet?)
Koko v Hassan v Gidey. Would like to see Hassan v Gidey in Poland in October over the half.
If Gidey shows up in her 15k race kind of shape, the wr will go easily.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
