One of my old teammates(D2) started coaching this year. Says he has a kid who could possibly be the next big miler. Kids first day at practice ran 67 400m with no training!

That's not very good. Knew a kid who probably could have ran sub 60 no training. He ran a 4:38 mile skipping practice most days.
1. Riverside Co just moved back to purple. Not good for Great Oak hopes of having a season. Though they aren’t following guidelines anyway based on social media.
2. If HS sports are allowed no way Santa Clara County will ok it. They just said no fans in stadiums even though the state said it’s ok. This is not looking good for the Bells.
3. Despite the lesser restrictions on stadiums ($$$) no movement at all for youth sports. That’s a big indication HS sports aren’t happening.
Good post, thanks.

Question at this point is will there be sports in CA in the fall of 2021. Even with vaccine news, I dont see track happening. Not a chance on winter xc. CA runners out from March 2020-Fall 2021 the earliest. If you have the means and flexibility to move you should consider it, of course every state at this point seems to be starting the predicted second wave.

I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
