He ran 13:51 5k on the roads a few weeks ago which is worth 29:07. Given triathletes usually have better endurance than speed, running on a track with competition / pacing I would've expected around 28:30 - 28:45.
He did run with competition 2-weeks ago and fared worse by having a thigh injury.
