All time best is 4:10 from high school. Sophomore in college. Was hurt all freshmen year and made a good comeback for this track season. Was running mid 70's per week and hadn't done many track workouts only tempo workouts. I was doing workouts like 3 mile tempo in 15:40 followed by 4x200 at 30 seconds. I was also doing 90 minute long runs usually averaged in the 6:0X's. The rest was easy mileage around 7 minute pace. I was just about to start doing more speed work after I ran 4:14... then COVID. Tell me what I would've run.
