Anyone know his birthdate? I see 2004 and no month. That means he will be 16 this year, and for all we know, very close. Awesome times regardless. For reference, Lukas Verzbikas ran 14:18i at 16y 2mo. That's the nearest person I could think of.

He has a full month to break the 10000m WR for 15 year-olds held by Keisuke Ikeda in 29:56. Since Axel already ran 30:11, it's just a matter of time.
Ikeda is a bad example of a runner holding age-graded records tho, 29:56 at 15 years old and then he never ran faster than a 1:03:37 half. Never established himself on the elite circuit. The equivalent performance of his half is ~28:50 10k, so in other words - he never improved his 10k for more than a minute since he was 15.
But then again it sounds worse than it is, since his 10k at 15 was already on such a high level. But maybe the 100 mile weeks as kid are what burned him out, and he could have ran faster at a slower progression.
