Make sure you arrive very early.
Death Valley is pretty big so do your mileage research before you actually go there.
The Longstreet Inn Casino & RV Resort (
) is a decent priced place to stay close to the Valley. I used it once for a couple of days.
The place is nothing special in the middle of nowhere, so don't expect anything but being close to Death Valley. From there it's still 33 miles to Zabriskie Point.
