If these details prove to be untrue, then yeah we have ampolice brutality issue on our hands. But if they are accurate, then what was the officer supposed to do? Get tasered and incapacitated? Let the suspect run off with his weapon?
The officer shot him while he was running away. But did he need to shot to kill? Couldn't he shoot him the the leg or buttox? It sure looks like he is trying kill him in the video.
You have watched too much TV.
Shooting a moving target in the leg is really hard. Heck I bet when it does happen it is a miss.
Also, one can die from being shot in the leg. Hit the femoral artery and death is likely in minutes barring medical intervention.
