You're completely off base about public sector unions. In the vast, vast majority of cases, their employees are hard-working, selfless people there to help the public at wages lower than they might easily have earned in the private sector, and these unions are usually forbidden from striking by law.
I prefer a police department where the black officers answer calls involving black people and the white officers answer calls involving white people. Methinks the black officers are going to be very busy on the weekends.

When someone is on trial for domestic violence, should we focus on the 99.9% of the time they were NOT battering their partner? Buying your wife flowers one day does not somehow counteract giving her a black eye the next. We don't have to evenly discuss everything police officers have ever done.
The US police system is on trial right now in the streets. Your evidence has nothing to do with the trial. I hope you understand any blowback you receive from your "positive sentiments".
Well, dummy, if you'd like to see most criminality go 'on trial in the streets' then go right ahead and defund and abolish police departments. I'm worried but I also have a couple shotguns and I'll be adding (a lot) to my ammunition stores.

Well, it didn’t happen. They have just introduced the new police chief, sworn in on Monday. Hope this Brian O’Hara knows what he’s doing. That BLM thing was too intense, and I’m glad it’s gone. If there are any race issues, we can sit and talk about it and not crush and loot stores.
I wish there were a system in the US like some best councils in the uk have. This system helps the residents have more word in what decisions the city council makes. It also allows them to review and rate the decisions and create petitions to solve any issues they have. It increases communication between those in power and regular citizens.
BFD. I'm from Singapore. After the British were defeated and kick out for good, we replaced each of the local police departments with a Japanese police system where only civilian residing within the borders of each police administration are managers, supervisors, commissioners etc. No ex-cops, no ex-soldiers, no historic military family members allowed.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
