Well, I tried looking up stats for the JC he's going to. Couldn't find much. Looked at the roster, recognized most of the names. I think my guy will fit in just fine there.
6/22 - 4 Easy
6/23 - AM 5 Easy + 4 x 50 sprint. PM 4 easy
6/24 - 11 miles @ 75 minutes
6/25 - 5 easy + Core, Lunges, Push Ups
6/26 - 3 Easy + Core, Lunges, Push Ups
6/27 - 1 mile wu + 5 x 3 min (840-845 meters, 2:51-2:52 @ 800) + 4 x 200 @ 30, full recovery 1 mile CD
6/28 - 5 Miles easy
About 44 miles for the week.
Wednesday the 24th was a big day for him, shows a huge gain in general strength, but it kind of took a lot out of him. He needed 2 pretty easy days after that. I didn't think they were going to run that fast, but my other guy loves the longer faster stuff.
This week will be #3 of his second 3 week training block. Down week the following week. We'll run another 6 minute test to see where he's at. Honestly, I think he'll hit 1600 at close to his PR then keep going for another 350-400m. I'd be happy with anything over 1900m, considering in late may he went 1830m.
