Tell me how Semenya's level of confidence in women's events is any different from Christian Coleman's for the men.
I'll wait.

However, your attempt was equally juvenile to Semenya’s actions.
Semenya started out within an issue—but through self-absorption and self-aggrandizement, then became a new issue. The Semenya issue is about his speech and conduct, and how it evidences his attitudes, and what that says about his character.
There are other athletes within the original issue, but by-and-large they are not a-holes. There is only one Semenya. His conduct has made him an embarrassment to others within the original issue, and because of this, they do not associate themselves with him.
Make mo mistake, he’s a narcissist who has made it about himself.
Level of confidence? I'm confident that I could win every women's age group 5k that I cared to enter. I'm extremely confident that my son, a solid but not outstanding D1 runner, could qualify for women's classes at the Olympics. However, neither of us cares to take an earned place from a female athlete, I'm also fairly confident that you view the world through some sort of distorted social justice warrior lens. Semenya is a cheater, plain and simple. I know it, she knows it, and, deep down, you know it too.

Damn right! She has the balls to kick my ass.
How is she cheating if she has technically complied with every regulation that has been thrown at her for a prolonged period?
After the first round of suspicion and genetic testing, she passed.
Why would she sit if she passed?
Are we really going to pretend the IAAF clearing of 2010 didn't happen?

She only passed because at that point they didn't have any set rules regarding men with vaginas stealing money from the women's category.
They slowly but surely managed to rectify that, at least for a few events.
The fact they can't exclude men with vaginas from all events shows how difficult it is to move legally in these situations these days.
Right. They changed the rule. THEY changed the rule. If Semenya was determined suitable in 2010, she didn't suddenly become a man in 2015 when things were re-evaluated for testosterone levels nor in 2019 when the ruling was finalized. She is not a man nor can you honestly prove you're a man. Did you beer bong your way through college?

In fact, nobody can prove they are anything because we go with what we're told.
You are a colossal moron.
I can only think that this thread is clickbait.
Out.
World Athletics didn’t do genetic testing on Semenya. They are too chicken sh@t to do true genetic testing. Some idiot was assigned to look down Semenya’s pants. That’s it. She was humiliated obviously and has spoken about it at length.
They should conduct true genetic testing by checking for XX chromosomes. That would have solved this whole issue.
Obviously Semenya doesn’t have XX chromosomes or her attorneys would have presented this evidence years ago. Instead they have to play the “identities as female” card.
Total B.S.
We demand true chromosome testing for all wishing to compete in the female category! If you’re not XX, you don’t qualify for female competition.
Had there been an issue, the IAAF would not have cleared her in 2010.
Furthermore, you don't truly have anyone's permission to determine their sexuality just because you're the majority.
You're out of line in its truest sense.
Nobody is arguing for them to be included in mainstream competition just to annoy you.
Why do you care so much?
I'll tell you why I think you care. You can't handle the fact someone you view as a man and who has traits that you see in yourself could want to be considered a woman.
It spooks you to see someone reject being part of what you see as better. This is no different from the school yard bully who picks on the sensitive kid because they don't value masculinity in the same way.
Trans and intersex women disregard social norms around gender and this upsets you. It probably upsets you when a woman doesn't act in a traditional feminine fashion too.
The people bullying Semenya are all second-wave radical feminists all of a sudden? Come on.
Rojo is the one who is delusional. I should know. I had to put up with him at Cornell. He never made any sense and stole all of his workout ideas from John Kellogg, who he treated like some weird combo of his father and son.
It takes a special kind of idiot to lodge accusations of bullying against those who are simply trying to prevent actual bullying from taking place in track and field. Semenya contesting women's events is directly analogous to the schoolyard bully taking lunch money from those smaller and weaker than themselves. I'm done. You are literally too stupid to entertain a rational concept.
And I'm honestly scared for your team.
Do they enjoy what they do or are you this demeaning to them.
World Athletics didn’t have a proper rule in place for the women’s section. Then, three non-XX chromosome athletes went 1, 2, and 3 in the women’s Olympic 800m and World Athletics had to make a rule to protect the women’s events. The current Testosterone rule is totally BS too. They need to switch to chromosome testing, and only XX females should be allowed in women’s events. There is a strong movement to get this accomplished.
Sign their petition to keep non XX athletes out of Olympic women’s events.
They have had several victories at the state level, banning non XX chromosome athletes from women’s events. The tide is shifting and women’s rights to compete against each other are being recognized.

So you're supportive of other movements which address bullying of women and girls?
Big fan of consent classes and the #MeToo movement I guess?
But that's not on Semenya!
As far as she knew, she tested in 2009, sat out, and was CLEARED in 2010.
She did exactly what she needed to do by the letter of the codes that were established at the time she was cleared.
You can't go in 2020 and try to retroactively enforce a standard that cleared her in 2010.
Had she BEEN a man, that she was a man would have been found out and legislated against accordingly.
But she CLEARED the test.
Of course she is going to continue to compete. She's not a man.
What was later determined about testosterone production was still mitigated in 2018 by allowing her to compete if she took estrogen. Had she been a man, no amount of estrogen would have undone the basic fact that she would have been a man.
Look, you can't keep wishing and pushing through this convoluted kangaroo court of your peers that she is a man if, throughout the WHOLE process, this was never proven to be true.
At some point, it becomes persecution. We're at that point.
I haven't checked in on this thread in a while. Before I take the time to read for myself, am I correct in assuming that the last 5+ pages have all just been a small handful of people repeating the same arguments over and over again in slightly different wording?
