What if we mixed breast milk from 100 different mothers and feed it to the baby? Will we create a baby with a super immune system and probiotics?
God bless your new beautiful family.

As a special education teacher...yes NO sign language ..:just talk and read to your child and she have a great start to life.
Question: Is it acceptable to say that Bojo and his partner just had a baby a few weeks ago? This is how I usually like to express it, but your comments make me wonder whether this is even acceptable.
1. If you start to think, "I am exhausted now. How the hell am I going to do years of this?!?", you are at the beginning of the Big Adjustment, for which it is almost impossible to prepare. Get ready to give up a lot - free time, spontaneous travel, etc
2. Emotionally you will change quite a bit. The direction in which you head with this depends on how you react and prepare for #1 above.
3. It will often suck. The best description of parenthood was something I read on Reddit: "There is joy, punctuated with brief moments of rage when you could - with a clear conscience - murder your child and bury them in the backyard".
Congratulations!

LetsRun Nation meet Charlotte Catherine 'Cece' Johnson. 8lbs 2 ounces. She and her mom are doing great.
She's now been home for a week and just had her first blowout while I was changing her. I think that makes me an official parent.

Omg...just saw this. First off, congrats on a very beautiful baby girl! Girls are great, she will be daddy’s girl for sure ? hard to believe my youngest daughter is almost 20yrs old! Enjoy these moments, they grow up quickly. First few months will be sleep deprived but will get better.?
How much is in her 529 account now? Never too early to start saving for college.
Congrats again. I have some LetsRun specific questions.
Will you ever allow her on your website (specifically the message board)?
Do you think raising a daughter will impact the moderation and registration requirements (specifically the harassment and objectification of women)?
There's not a lot going on in the running world in 2020, but do you think future LetsRun coverage will be affected as far as how often you can travel?
you have to be nuts to have a kid in your late 40s.
Awesome news!
Congrats!

Congrats on the future shot putter.
Did the hospital allow you to witness the birth?
Yes. I witnessed it. Each mother was allowed one guest. Kids in ICU get 2 and no one else in hospital got guests.
I was advised not to leave the hospital once I entered it although technically they said I could. Went in Tuesday for induction. It took a while. Cece came Thursday at 2:45 am. I went home Friday night and drove back Satuday to pick them up. Nurses and everyone were great all around.
Hospital would play "Here Comes the Sun" everytime a Covid patient left. Probably heard 2-3 the 1st day . 7-8 the last day.
Congratulations! She's gonna bring you abundant joy.
BTW, my youngest daughter is also Cece (Cynthia Cydney) ; )
Corny dad pun: When she was emerging, the hospital should have played "Here Comes my Girl" for you.
Christ. We get it.
More importantly, congrats Wejo and Steve.

Congratulations, Weldon! Very exciting (and life changing.) If you haven’t already done so I’d invest in a rocking chair. We spent hours in ours rocking my kids back to sleep in the middle of the night.
We look forward to meeting CeJo someday!
