It's painfully obvious to anyone who has followed your posts that you wouldn't follow the advice anyway, which is why you seldom get serious replies anymore.
Also, you posted about using replies as fap material. That is also a deterrent, although I guess by replying to you right now I am giving you material.

Imagine that we aren’t going to waste out time knowing about anything you’ve ever written previously
It is just frustrating when I am struggling so much and I am by myself
stand up on your feet for 3 times for 10 minutes each day. with 2 to 3 hours between times. just play 3 songs and stand. maybe a little tai chi-ish motion. anything. log time on feet... get a mini trampoline.

You should ask Jamin and Greg if they will hang out with you. They’re lonely and they’re way faster than you.
While you’re at it you should ask if Superior Wizard Coach JS will coach you. You can turn into a world-class runner then even if you have bad jeans.

Troll or not, that has got to be the most bizarre thing I've ever read on these boards. And I've been here a lot.
Please give me serious help. I need it
David, we can't really spill any secrets, but the only times I've gotten good at running I was running 2 hours per day, 7 days per week. That might be a good starting point and once you are in shape we can maybe sprinkle in some secrets..
You should listen to the other guy and jump in a trampoline for 45 minutes per day.
What shorts do you wear while working out?

That's kind of spilling secrets. Similar for me (except 2.5 hrs). Overdoing it for sure, but it worked amazingly for me at david's age. But that wouldn't work for most people and would be guaranteed to break david before the first run is over.
Hi David,
I don't know what kind of training you're doing.. I hear some things about injuries in your posts..
How long has it been since you committed to being. runner? Maybe a year?
And you had a pretty sedentary background, correct?
You aren't doing that bad if you are coming from a background of doing very little and pushing yourself to do a strenuous activity like running.
Running isn't easy for people who haven't been active. Actually, it's incredibly difficult and that's why most people run out of breath after a 1/4 mile. Most people in the general population could not run a mile without having to stop and walk.
So.. consider where you are and look at the positives you have going on for you.
-you are YOUNG (very important.. you are 18, 19 or 20 right? you are very young and that's a good thing
-You have massive upside and room to grow as an athlete. You should expect to improve for the next 10 years.
-You will have growing pains. Injuries are inevitable, but eventually you should be able to run injury free.
I don't know what kind of natural ability you have, but you should be able to run a mile in 5 minutes or better in your lifetime. Perhaps significantly faster. It takes time..
If anything, remember this: Runners generally need at least 2 years to get real results. You need an entire year just to get used to running and a second year to build on the training you've done. Many runners have their best performances after uninterrupted, injury free training.
Once you've run without any aches or pains for at least 2 years, you'll see massive gains.
This website is a good resource for knowledge. I'm rooting for you.
Thank you for being so optimistic. The issue is that I am struggling to remain injury free.

Doing to much to soon... Need to do more walking then running. Walk 4 times per week and run walk 2 days. Follow a Gallowalk plan or something.
After a while you can replace some of the walks with bike, swim, elliptical.... anything low impact that will work you aerobically and get you moving. Meanwhile, more running less walking.
Could take up to a year before you can even properly run train... then slowly doing more and more running and less and less of the cross-training.
If you could eventually work up to 30 MPW plus 2 hours of non-impact aerobic exercise you'd be in great shape.
You can reevaluate from there.

He's posted about it all over reddit. It should make anyone think twice about responding to him.

So did I make a mistake trying to join XC in high school?

If you have to ask you’ll never know.
I just can't believe that trying to join a sport led to years of injuries and pain.
