He has a viral story, let's see if we can piggyback on that and turn it into "Cheater Dad teaches his kids a real life lesson".

I'm all for catching this guy, but as the jacket isn't related to him cheating, if it was me, I would leave out a picture that shows him with his grade school daughter.

The photo was posted on his Facebook wall then on his publicly open blog. He had zero concern about his children's photos then, he should have none now. I really don't get why people's panties get in a twist over pictures of children... They have even less rights than adults do.

Not worth arguing about, but from my perspective if he wants to post his children's pictures on public websites that's his choice. That doesn't mean I'm going to do it. What do you mean children have less rights than adults do? Do you have kids? I'm guessing no because your first thought is that the Dad didn't have any concerns about it in the past. You're basically looking at it through the lens of "what is fair to the Dad." What about the daughter and what is fair to her?

My point is this grade school girl has absolutely nothing to do with her Dad's likely cheating, nor do I think she asked him to post the pictures on public sites. That's irrelevant to me because it's not a decision she made. I see no reason to populate the internet with pictures that last forever associating a grade school child with unethical behavior by one of their parents especially when they are not from the race or related to his actual cheating.

Agreed. Go ahead and crop or blur the picture, but no reason to bring kids into it.

If you have kids, you realize it wouldn't be appropriate for them to be dragged into something they weren't a part of, and even if I don't care for a particular person's actions, I would leave their kids out of it.

that people make mistakes. have you never done something stupid/ made a mistake?

i ask that question, because even if he did cheat, if he were outed for this on the national news, he could lose his job, he could be shamed by his friends, he could randomly receive death threats.

and my question to you, does that punishment fit the crime?

if someone takes someone else spot at the boston marathon because they cheated, is this how they should be punished?

if you ran society, would you say it is a fitting punishment for someone to be shamed for the rest of their life and have difficulty getting jobs for an action like this?

i just see this all the time with the internet and the groupthink masses believing they know what justice is. I'm glad we have some semblance of a criminal justice system instead of justice by the groupthink masses, but still with the rise of the power of the internet, i think these irrational juries of 20 year old boys who dont realize they are wrong sometimes too, is ruling things. its lord of the flies.

people will advocate for change for this because society will see they dont want anonymous, immature masses running things
