I was watching the BBC elite stream. They too lost coverage. The runners went underground. Like they ran down underneath a building or something. It was a tunnel - kind of like in chicago. THere definitely was a hill involved.

....Actually, i just did some research into what happened. They ran into the Blackfriars Underpass and there was no coverage.

Paula finished 20th in the women\'s race in a respective 2:36:55 at age 41 which nothing to sneeze at. I hope she keeps running as Briton doesn\'t have many elite female marathoners.

Maybe they should design the course to go over overpasses instead of under underpasses.

BBC presented Gabby Logan tried to see if Paula might compete like this again, but Paula said she realized when training in Kenya her body can't handle the training anymore.

I ran London today and passed Paula before halfway. It was crazy how the crowds were cheering for her. Deafening at times.
