Couple things.. First of all, nobody and I mean NOBODY who hasn't run sub-2:10 (male) or sub-2:30 (female) should be emailing marathon major race officials about anything. It should be a "don't call us, we'll call you" situation. That means you Nate Jenkins! Everyone else should STFU, get in a corral, and politely applaud when Desisa and Korir and Dathan are introduced. If you're an aspiring elite or a sub-elite or a shoe store retail clerk who runs as a hobby, earn yourself some special treatment by actually placing in the race.

Secondly, masters racing at the WMMs should just be canceled entirely. Why should anyone get 10 grand with a 2:46? Or some autistic "track coach" from wherever taking five figures with a 2:22... What a disgrace. And that goes double for anyone with even a whiff of doping or juicing on their record. Want cash? Get in a corral and place in the top ten. Otherwise it's a vacaction and you can pay for it yourself.

Finally, Nuta Olaru should sue the sh$t out of this chick. I can't even believe Liza's Kiwi. What is she, like half Maori or something? I would've said Mestizo given she's from San Antonio and evidently has access to Mexican pharamcies.

Clearly has she has mental issues, highlighted by:

1) Her need to take drugs

2) Her need to take a watch from Athur Lydiards house when she thought no one was watching

3) From stealing cash from a team mate's hotel trip while representing New Zealand, then within hours - the money being miracoulsy returned.

4) Her entitlement status to use money from her daughters trust account to fly to New Zealand each american summer, and then trying to win $$ from small number of marathons that exist down that way, depriving local's of their chance.

But perhaps the most delusional thing in all this, is how she persuaded New Zealander Peter Snell to take her side in the drug bust, and phrases like "oh - it's all just a mistake".

She should take up another sport, as just like Lance Armstrong, Tyler Hamilton etc, she no longer has no business in our simple and pure sport.

Ok it wasn't Valerie that Liza stole from, so must have been one of her other New Zealand team mates... I am going to contact some of them this weekend and track down who it is. I can only assume management put distance runners together which might mean that Liza stole from another kiwi living stateside.

Is stealing cash from a team mate while representing your country worse than taking drugs? After all, one is a criminal offence in most countries and the other is not.
