How does Astro get to specifically accuse Wiley of doping, and, in other threads, throw a nighttime worth of shade on Kipyegon? Can I say untested-Tuohy is filthy? Or that she’s not nice? Just trying to figure out the rules.

You are on record claiming that first year pros who have big drops in their PRs have obviously started doping. Henes dropped her 5000 PR by 26 seconds her first year.

It is pretty simple: Wiley is suspicious based on the Johnsons’ past and accusations. Tuohy has no reason for suspicion other than running very (but really not crazily) fast.
Kipyegon is another matter, but I agree, why would questioning her results be completely off limits? Any “unbelievable performance” can be questioned.
I don't care about times. The tip off on Wiley was the World U20 final last year in which she repeatedly tried to mix it up with the Ethiopians and Kenyans over the final lap plus. Multiple aggressive surges. Athletic arrogance.
You never see American 1500+ women demonstrate that type of attitude. The vast majority do what Mia Barnett did in the same race...settle immediately to the back of the pack and make sure you're never a factor.
Wiley gave way late in that race because her early strategy was poor. She gave herself too much to do over the first three laps. It's obvious she learned from that because today she made sure to be untroubled near the front.
I love those U18 and U20 events because so many stars are revealed. That women's 1500 final certified Birke Haylom as a freak talent and Addy Wiley as most likely the best American 1500 female of the upcoming generation.
She also looked bigger and stronger and fitter today than my images of her from last summer.
It is unbelievable that so many in this thread are willing to look the other way in spite of what we know about the Huntington cases.
Wiley spoke against the other victims and in support of the coaches. I can't support her and I doubt she is clean.
Completely obtuse. You know nothing about testing if you think a couple of in-competition tests can catch anything. Again I did not create this scandal or the fraud associated with it.
I know that passing two drug tests of any sort is a lot better than passing ZERO.

The USADA web site clearly says that the sample count for Wiley is 2 but that sample count does not equate to the number of tests as multiple samples are often collected during a test session. The obvious inference is that Wiley has been tested once and that two samples were taken at that time unless, I guess, her USADA page previously showed only one sample count. Does anyone know if that were the case?

Because the preliminary filings from the former HU runners, are preliminary, they are light on details, as are the tweets from Lauren's former teammates Pat Casey and Aisha Praught Leer.

If you look her up by year on the USADA website, it reports two samples were collected from her in q2 last year, and one sample was collected in q2 this year. So USADA has tested at least twice, and maybe 3x.
It is also possible that she has been tested by other agencies such as the NAIA or the AIU. If so, those tests would not show up on the USADA site. Like the NCAA, the NAIA is not part of the WADA/USADA testing system. The USADA also would only track any tests carried from the U20 Worlds last summer that it had ordered; thus tests ordered by the AIU would not show up on the USADA website.

That same young woman showed more guts than any American junior since Cain or Ritz in the U20 champs last year. She would not have run this well in Colorado I assure you. Hate her if you must, but she is not going away.

The way she spoke about the true victims in this scandal is the behavior exhibited by a very low class, self centered human being. Whatever she does in the sport, she will never be able to outrun that reputation.
