Seriously, Torn Gluteus Medius Tendon? PUHLEASE! First off it is probably IT BAND SYNDROME. The amount of force to tear that tendon is pretty high and I am pretty sure his fat ass can not exert that amount of force to do so.

I think it was quite predictable that he would soon miraculously come up with a career-ending injury and never be able to run again. I kind of figured he'd give it a few days before announcing it, but why not now I guess.

Wimp. The powerlifting miler we cannot name runs a 4:15 mile, 16:05 5k, and 3:35 marathon with a hamstring that is completely detached from the femur, a dislocated and now necrotic hip, and multiple stress fractures in his ankles. Seriously, that's what he claims.

Rossi needs to do more unofficial running like our hybrid athlete hero, it's a lot easier than cheating and can't be disproved.

You are awesome for posting this. Pretty much confirmed what I figured he would be like on FB. We all have 'friends' like that, and I usually hide their feeds right away also. Feel sorry for his wife, can't imagine what it's like to be married to a super-tool like that.

Given everything we already know, I was thinking this morning that at this point the Via RDs probably have no doubt in their mind that he cheated the course. My guess is they're just lining up all their ducks in a row before announcing their conclusion.

If this circus leads to tighter and stricter validation on accepted Boston-qualifying courses and times, I'm a happy runner!
