Kerr is a beast now. Total killer. Maybe Yared is just a touch TOO mellow.

Hacker screwed Nuguse 4 different times in one race. Shouldn’t have even brought him to the meet
Kind of a mess of a race. But nice result for Nuguse to get silver. And a gutsy race from Hacker to take his shot

Knew it was way too good to be true but wanted it to be real. Big PB for Hacker!

Sorry but wtf is Nuguse doing on the last 2 laps?
Got himself into a bad spot. Much better tactics by kerr
Not a Kerr fan, admittedly
but i really thought he comitted some fouls on thete today

Nuguse tactics were terrible.
They were second best. Not terrible, but not world champion level yet.
His racing tactics weren’t so solid but it didn’t matter luckily because he’s in great form. Hacker impressed and raced with guts! Paris 1500m going to be the race of the year if we get a Kerr vs Inge rematch

He probably has no business finishing 5th, I think the move was great
Fair point, should have said (even if it didn't lead to a medal)

That clown in dead last is gonna get lapped twice. He better move out to lane 4 and stay there
don't disrespect an athlete at a global final when you're at home wrestling with your VPN
even the worst runner at a global championship is better than you
Really hope Hocker becomes the guy because no one else from US is touching Kerr or Jakob

Yared just doesnt have the edge of the other guys.
This aged well
fwiw he edged Barega. I thought he ran a good race to medal. Not a great race to win ofc. Kerr is just on another level rn.
Ethiopia goes home devastated on men’s and women’s side
So impressive from Kerr. Perfect racing. But the field more or less handed it to him
Good for Nuguse to get some championship racing in, because the difference between him and Kerr was that Kerr handled himself much better tactically
Love the guts from Hacker.
Masterclass by Kerr.
What was Berega thinking?
And a pity to see Nuguse fall asleep at just the wrong moment, but it shows how good he is that a distant silver feels disappointing.
He ran in the 9s…
The dude ran 9:30, wouldn’t make a high school state meet. Cmon.

I mean that race was a poor setup for Yared. Crazy pacing, very physical. When Jakob goes 3:28-9, he is in a much better spot though he’ll have to prepare for Kerr shoving him a lot. He didn’t have much fight today, it was like watching early career McDavid in the playoffs. You gotta return fire

And earned himself $6,000

She can win a medal in the outdoor 1500m this year. Or does she focus on the 5000m?
the 5000m is a better bet for a medal methinks
the 1500m is too cornered a market between Hassan, Kipyegon and the Ethiopian contingent
but with people closing in 56 lol who knows
an 8.20 is impeccable though well done ESP!
I see her running 3:54 this season. I don’t see her running 14:10. That’s the level it will take to medal. She should go 1500.
