1st you've got a soccer mom winner the "Worlds' Toughest Marathon", with thousands of missing data points and blowing away elites on the final climb. Mind you all of her "unusual data" happened at night when you can knock miles off in a van.

Now we've got a crazy neurotic anorexic road runner on drugs who signed up under an assumed name in a trail race. Hahahahahhahaha!! Man you can't make this stuff up!

You guys are 100% suckers if you believe these 2 stories are just normal things people do..

The more time will go by, the more bizarre her getting Bronze in Tokyo 2020 will appear. It was an incredible outlier that would be open to a lot more scrutiny if our Molly didn't hail from the good ol' US of A.

believe it or not, some of us adhd folks take the dosage best suited for their disorder and never abuse the drug.

people without adhd or someone who’s close to them with adhd generally seem to sound like idiots when talking about the disorder itself and stim drugs to treat it.

My daughter has ADHD. The meds allow her to function. Period. She was diagnosed at 13 and is now 22. The whole process of her ADHD is nothing like Molly, who's basically telling us "hey I started taking Aderall and feel great! I guess I have ADHD!"

The post I was responding to was simply talking about stim meds in general. Dude clearly had a drug problem and was chasing the dragon. Likely taking 120mg or more at a time. much different than sally down the street taking 20mg’s and was actually diagnosed with it.

I was at both Canyons and Speedgoat this year. It's a little concerning to me that UTMB hasn't bothered to do any testing at either race. With prize money, Golden tickets, and UTMB starts on the line it seems like they could afford to do a little drug testing. Even the QUARTZ testing is a lot better than nothing.

P.S. Speedgoat 28K is nothing like a road marathon. Sure it's tough between the vert and altitude and your legs are pretty heavy by the end but recovery is usually just a few days to a week and less if you don't race it all out. I'd imagine it's not something Molly's doctor would have recommended but the story seems consistent with her comeback from a stress reaction and the recent treadmill hiking. Hopefully she'll bounce back and consider "racing" a trail event soon.
