I see, Seidel raced a UTMB event meaning there is no or very little drug testing or else a sanctioned race would have caught her Adderall drug use. Guess Seidel is now an ultra-runner because I don't see WADA allowing her to use Adderall in competition because it has such enormous performance enhancing capabilities.

Personally I think if you have hardcore ADHD, going for a casual hike in the mountains is better than running an all-out marathon where you have to be constantly checking your splits and making sure you grab the right water bottle at every station while the crowds can be a bit sensory overload. Hopefully she gets her vitamins back on track.

wow that is really schocking. We heard all day long excuses related to injuries for bad performances from US runners and then we discover that an Olympic bronze medalist lied about her injury and that her non participation to the WC is just due to drug use.

Yeah, I'm a Molly fan and I think she should be allowed to use the drugs that help her and that she doesn't owe anyone any explanations, but I also don't think she should lie and dang this looks pretty dishonest.

This whole thing is weird. To echo someone else above, 5 days ago she posted a video of herself walking on a treadmill. No mention of this "race" in her social media.

Did she really think no one would find out? In this day of social media and documenting everything for public consumption, like no one would post anything about her racing. The whole thing is so weird and the secretive nature of it (if she really ran under a fake name) makes it worse.
