HE WILL PLAY ROCK PAPER SCISSORS, BUT ONLY DRAW AFTER HIS OPPONENT HAS DONE SO, AND NO ONE WILL KNOW BECAUSE HIS REACTION TIME IS GODLY!!!!

HE WILL JOIN A FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE AND COLLUDE TO MAKE TRADES AFTER HIS TEAM IS MATHEMATICALLY ELIMINATED FROM THE PLAYOFFS!!!

MIKE ROSSI WILL ALWAYS WIN AND ALL OF YOU MERE MORTALS WILL LOSE!!!!!!!!!

There were real, identifiable people who posted on the LVHN Facebook page that they would boycott and run Erie instead. I don't know if those posts have been purged and I'm not going to look. Others can do their own legwork.

I don't think participation will be down. A concerted effort to start a viral boycott campaign might have put a ding in the race but you would have to create a picket line mentality. That's not likely and never was.

In the end people are self-serving and the "fast downhill course" marketing campaign will trump the "failed to show integrity" message board posts.

I recently finished reading Jon Ronson's book "So You've Been Publicly Shamed".

Has anybody considered taking this story to 4chan? It seems like the place to go if you're seeking internet retribution against the marathon and Mike Rossi. One strategy that is used to get a message across is employing DDoS attacks against a target.

If the Lehigh Valley Marathon were targeted in such a way in their final days of registration, people would be unable to register online and the race would lose money. I wouldn't personally do this, but 4chan users might, if we could get a large number of them interested in the Rossi story.

I won't be " running " the race this year , instead I'll just shadow Rossi and make sure he stays on coarse , if he goes into a porta potty I will be there to make sure he gets back on the coarse when he comes out , not wait 5 mins and slink off to his car .
