Mike Rossi is getting killed on here - is called a cheater and offered $100,000 to run the same marathon time he already claims to have run. So what does he do? He goes after the weakest guy he can find, Ken, and the minions come out and again try to turn this into being about Ken. It's so unbelievably pathetic.
Sadly, there is a lot of truth to that.
When did you idiots start calling trolls minions?
Is it the movie?
Another reply to Mike's tweet about running again:
@mikerossi22 aren't you supposed to RUN ALL the 26.2 miles? I mean you could walk but motorized transportation isn't allowed.. Is it?
Props on this one to Fake Darren Pang.
Are there any highly speculative rumors that Rossi or Ken takes it up the ass or are addicted to oxy?
If so I'd like to hear them.

The Brojos should throw down another challenge, this one to Ken. 100K if he could break 5 hours in a marathon. Just like the Rossi challenge their money would be safe.
I think they could offer him $100K to stop posting here and it wouldn't stop.

You come off as a big prick. And with an email address of mail@uscandids, you likely got an intern or the owners 13 y.o. kid.
If I received that email exchange, I would have responded with "all photos are online....PRICK."
How difficult would it be for you to politely contact this photography outfit and discover if they were telling the truth to him if your doubts are real? I suspect that your doubts aren't real.
It wouldn't be difficult, but why would I?

Rossi has heard the media are again interested (confirmed by LR and others) and that it may have a Ken/Mike angle to it, which is why he's gone down the cease and desist route. Unfortunately for Mike, and he's too thick to realize it, the C&D is only confirming and exacerbating the situation.
Ken, I don't think the article will "take on a life of it's own and have a huge impact", it needs to be put out there in front of the media. This is where you can come in and gives you something constructive to do, email it and the Peter Finley letter in Buzzfan (which also explains things well and invites Mike to sue him) to every media organization you can think of.

Here's an extract from his bio:
"Dr. Finley is the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Affairs and an associate professor of sport and recreation management in the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship. His areas of specialization include sport ethics, sport law, and the sociology of sport. He has authored numerous scholarly articles on various sport management topics and is a regular presenter at several major international conferences in the field. What an awesome story! I'm wondering, though, why you didn't cover the rest of it? Your wonder-dad, Mike Rossi, cheated his way into the Boston Marathon.
He posted a qualifying time at the Lehigh Valley Health Network Via Marathon. He took a selfie at the start line, reappeared at the finish line, but was never photographed on the course at any of the photo checkpoints in between. Every runner was photographed multiple times (generally as many as a dozen times at varied locations) but Rossi was never photographed. Time stamps on the photos show that pictures were generally being taken at a rate of one every 1.25 seconds as the runners went past and you can often see the runners in frame and everything for 100 yards behind them. Rossi never showed up along the race route. The odds of him running the marathon and not being photographed have been calculated at close to one in 600,000. At one point, about six miles into the race, 199 of the top 200 runners are clearly photographed. You can guess who was missing and should have been right in the middle of the stream of runners. Lehigh is not a big marathon. Just a few miles into the race the runners have stretched out and getting photographs of everyone (to be sold to the runners later) is very easy. Everyone who ran across that bridge was photographed. Mike Rossi wasn't because he was in a car on the highway at the time.
In addition, Rossi's race history does not support that he has the ability to run a 3:11 marathon. All his previous races indicated he should run between 3:40 and 4:00 (he claims he never tried in ANY race, EVER, until his miracle perfomance at Lehigh). Rossi ran a predictable 4:01 at Boston, where security measures are in place to prevent cheating. Rossi's bragging posts on Twitter and Facebook about previous races do not support that he NEVER tried in ANY previous race.
The race management team at Lehigh declined to disqualify Rossi but left the door open to consider further evidence, should it be made available. It seems they don't believe that his complete absence from photos or his obvious inability to run 3:11 are conclusive. They probably want a witness who saw him leave the course after his "chip" crossed the start line or saw him jump back in just prior to the finish. The running community is angered by this, as it essentially means that a runner is allowed to cheat, provided they are good at it. The race management team did NOT, however, exonerate Mike Rossi. They wrote, "the Marathon committee concluded that while there is data from Rossi’s participation in other racing events indicating that Rossi’s time may not be accurate, there is not conclusive evidence..." and continued, "Therefore the LVHN Via Marathon Committee concluded that Rossi will not be disqualified unless additional conclusive information arises in the future." They also promised "the course will have a minimum of six timing mats - at the start, finish line and four additional on-course locations. In addition, there will be video surveillance of the course at several locations which Via will archive annually." In other words, they don't want to get "Rossied" again.
If you would care to watch the video of Mike Rossi NOT qualifying for the Boston Marathon, you can do so here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGilRGr2GlIOr just watch Rossi NOT cross the bridge within the top 200 runners (he finished 114th), here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxKfEiOfGmYWhether you like the letter to the principal or not, Mike Rossi cheated his way into the Boston Marathon.
And Mike, if you don't like this post, you are welcome to sue me for defamation and I'll crush you in court."
Ken would dnf a 5k walk
True story.
Mike's minions are wannabe trolls, not smart enough to be that idiotic. They aspire to be morons.Carry on.
Minions wrote:

Sadly, Rossi is successfully shifting the battleground.
He can't win an argument about whether he ran Lehigh. If he could he would already be filing lawsuits for defamation.
He won't want to address the money on offer (you watch how fast he goes with "no comment" or "I was exonerated" or "I'd take that money but I'm hurt and they know it, so the offer is illegitimate" or some other crap that isn't, "Awesome! I ran that time once and I'll run it again for $100,000!" if a reporter asks him about it).
So, he attacks the weak link (and I'll admit, LoserMikeRossi, who we presume to be Ken, has written some things that get into dangerous territory) and shifts the conversation to one where he has a fighting chance of winning.
If he sues Ken it will allow him to position himself as a "victim who was exonerated and just wants to move on and this guy tried to hurt my business and family." There are a lot of bullies who claim victim status when someone punches back. Sometimes it works. The general public could view some of the punches as low blows and would sympathize with the cheater.
Focusing on DJ politics and personal vendettas instead of the $100,000 offer is stupid.

This has already been covered, Ken was on the job with Mike, Ken fell asleep, so Mike had him sacked. Dunno about the oxy stuff.

I've been jumping around trying to catch up. As near as I can tell there are both trolls and Rossi and friends posting, not sure when or where they started up the minion stuff vs your regular letsrun troll. Seems to be an odd mix of the usual letsrun shite and then people who have come here for the first time for Rossi only. And then there is also some obese non-runner dude named Ken who has some kind of weird personal history and seems to offend everyone. I'm not counting every tree so I've missed a lot.
I would think that Mike would be very hesitant to pursue any legal action against Ken based on posts in this thread because I'm sure there are some very questionable things that could be linked to Mike himself via IP address if push comes to shove.
He silenced the Brojos for awhile with intimation via lawyer. Current situation with Ken is more of the same.

Mike won't do anything worthwhile from a legal angle, he doesn't have the dollars to do it and it would only draw further attention to himself. A cease and desist letter is about all he's got to try and put the frighteners on someone. It's a cheap way for someone to go who doesn't have the financial means to go the whole hog, in his case it was really cheap because, according to Ken, it was done pro-bono by a friend/facebook friend.
So...it's cyber-bullying? Does Oprah know about this yet?

I keep thinking about that reddit story, the poster who was rating young girls' s**es or something like that. He was so persistent and his identity was unveiled and it made national news. Any little slip up and this could boil over for Mike, with Ken becoming infamous as well.
