Vo2max has nothing to DO with an individual runner and is simply another "measure of current fitness". Its another race equivalence. Its no more telling than just using a McMillan table.

Whether we agree or disagree with his letter, I think we runners can all agree a cheater has no place in our sport. He is dancing around the fire.

That 5K time is not correct. I should be 18 and change, though I did win the race. I don't know why the RD uploaded incorrect time. If you go to the race site its 4+ minutes short for everyone, no idea why. I only connected it to my athlinks because I won.

Agreed. Race photogs just shoot and shoot unless it's the very back of the pack...even then, they shoot.

That's nothing. I have a world record 5k performance on my athlinks page. I put a comment on it that it was almost a mile short, but the race itself shows up as a 5k (it was called a 5k). I guess I could just delete it, but I really don't give a shit about my athlinks page anyway. Also, it's kind of funny.

To be fair, that was 6 days after he broke 3 hours with his 2:59:45 so he was pumped and nobody was going to catch him that day. Won by 2:38 over 2nd place and 4:32 over 3rd.

Mike old friend, it's time to come clean, if you don't it's only going to getting bigger and bigger and start affecting your family and everyone around you. If you think things are bad now it's nothing to what's coming, especially when major TV and other media really pick up on it.

You've dug yourself a deep hole and you're just about to get hit over the head multiple times with shovel you used to dig it. Your worst nightmare is about to begin.

I don't think you guys are the only ones with some generous 5k times attributed to yourself, given that his 13:44 was only listed as being like 9.7th percentile haha. Glad you own up to it. I have a half marathon that was ~half mile short and I made a similar comment.
